good evening fellow homies. this is senget here, and yes i am fucking bored! seriously. tuesday is shitty because there is World of Warcraft maintenance, sean and elena, you feel me right. and whoever is with me in andrew tan's class, we're lucky there isn't any homework tomorrow, or else tonight might just be yet another indesign wipefest. do remember to bring your newsletter though.
anyway, my boredom leads me here. after much consideration of what topic to talk, i finally settled on one thing. one thing i do best. okay maybe not really best. but yeah, i'm gonna talk about movies, my personal views on them. because i work part-time at a cinema. i'm a ticketing cashier at shaw century cineplex in century square, tampines. do come visit me if you happened to stop by. but for fuck sake, please don't greet me uncle or even xiao jie (back then when my hair was longer) like some customers did. or i swear to god i'm gonna charge you the highest possible ticket price and issue you the worst ever seats.
alright back to topic. for now, whats hot in the cinema.
"final destination 4(M18)". i watched it on 3D and i think it's pretty okay? hmmm. slightly gore but if you have a good stomach, you'll be fine. however, it's only 80 minutes long. why so short? because based on inside information, it's supposed to be rated R21 yet the censorship board cuts its ass till it becomes M18 for financial purposes of course. if you're keen for the uncut version, probably you should go online and find it.
"bandslam" for the kids and the highschool musical lovers. for your information, i get to watch free movies but i doubt i'll even consider watching that. i believe none of 2B are into this kind of kiddo shit. am i? haha.
"where got ghost?" pretty funny, provided you understand a bit of mandarin and hokkien. local shows can be quite an ideal entertainment and at the same time, you can relate to it. the morale of the stories are simple lessons in life.
"district 9" i expected it to be great since it's produced by my favourite "lord of the rings"'s director, peter jackson. sad to say i was pretty disappointed with this sci-fi version of "cloverfield". with all the short interviews in between the show which i reckon, is to give the show a more emotional and realistic feel but failed. initial part of the show can be pretty boring. the graphics might be awesome but still, it's lacking something, maybe the action scenes. if you're looking for the full-blown right-in-your-face action packed movie, this is not for you.
"year one" i haven't catch it yet but i always like comedy shows. not much of a jack black's fan but i'm pretty curious on how the show might turn out. i hope it's not the kind of lame ass stupid comedy.
coming this week, the new released movies would be. "gamer" "i love you beth copper" "dance flick" "g-force" "time-traveler's wife" "seventh moon"
in the future, we should have a class outing at the movies. for the guys, let's have a boys night out and go yang tze! if you know what i mean. those not turned 21 yet, just try to sneak in. remember to bring your umbrella. wahahaha.
